With members from more than 30 states and most Canadian provinces, Ironwood provides a friendly, cosmopolitan atmosphere for the year-round enjoyment of golf, tennis, fitness and other recreational activities.
The Club, which is owned by its members, is within a secure gated, privately -- maintained community. It enjoys an exceptional location, high above the Coachella Valley, and abutting the Santa Rosa Mountains. It is governed by its proprietary golf members, not managed by an absentee owner or outside management company.
All members, and their families and guests, have full use of the club's three new dining facilities and clubhouse, 14 tennis courts, and a new Fitness Center with state-of-the-art equipment and Spa treatment rooms. Its golf members enjoy two immaculately-groomed 18 hole golf courses most of the year, except for the overseeding period in early Fall when one, then the other, course has suspended play.
Ironwood members can be as involved as they wish to be in a broad range of popular social events and activities, including golf leagues and tournaments, tennis play, open or structured fitness activities, topical lectures, themed entertainment and dining, art exhibits, more than 20 guided desert hikes, and most any other recreational, leisure time activity one desires.
